Our first photo shoot!

Yesterday evening we had some family pictures taken by one of my friends who is just starting up. We were her FIRST photo shoot! She did awesome. These are the first teaser pictures. She hasn't edited these at all yet but they still turned out great. She's working on the rest now. We couldn't have asked for better weather! The day before this the temperature was 104 but this day the high was high 80's, low 90's. The humidity wasn't bad either. Although by the end of the photo shoot we were sweating.

CUTENESS

We went to dinner one night with Eliana. She was in our ward back in Utah and moved to Forth Worth a few months before we did. We went to PF Chang's with her and caught up with life. It was so fun to see her again and hear about all her new adventures.

Austin being cute. I couldn't resist.

Make a Wish!

Lately Austin has been crinkling his nose and squinting his eyes when he laughs. Then he'll breathe in and out of his nose really fast as he laughs and ends up snorting. I laugh at him and he laughs harder and does it again since he knows I like it. The problem is...he does this in Relief Society too!
The next Karate Kid!

HE'S GONNA EAT ME!

O'Fallon, Illinois!

Tyler and I had not been back to his parent's house in O'Fallon, IL since we got engaged. The time before that was when I ran into some bricks in the middle of the road at 2 AM while driving from Philadelphia to Utah. Jane (Tyler's mom) picked me and my friend up the next morning and stayed at his house all day while our car got fixed. Tyler and I were not even dating anymore yet I was able to meet his family without him...Anyhow, now we are married and took Austin for a visit!

As luck would have it, our flight was delayed. We were supposed to take off at 8:55 PM but did not leave until 11:30 PM. Austin was such a good baby and took a nap on the airport chairs under a little tent we made him. He slept during the plane ride and even through the landing. He also slept all the way home to Tyler's parent's house...Yet he managed to wake me up twice during the night from 1 AM - 6 AM. agh!

Richard trying to figure out how to get Austin to eat his cereal. ;)

We ate dinner at the Spaghetti Factory in St. Louis and then walked to the Arch. It was an amazing sight!

Amanda with Austin in their swing in the backyard.

He loves to swing! And smile for pictures! I am so lucky!

Horseshoes in their backyard. We also played 18 holes of Disc Golf one morning, and I was able to leave Austin with Jane and Amanda. It was fun to get out and do something without carrying the baby around.

Taking a bath in Grandma's Sink! Classic.

Jane feeding Austin cereal the correct way. He always had a big audience to show-off to while we were there

Spencer, Tyler's brother, is leaving on a mission to Ghana, Africa. He's dark enough in this picture to fit right in. He leaves beginning of September and will be gone for 2 years!

Hope to see you all again soon!!!!!!!!

Make a Wish!

I've been making these Wishing Wells for a Relief Society Meeting we have coming up to be the centerpieces on the tables. I am the coordinator in our ward and it's been a lot of fun!

I made the one on the left out of a baby formula can. I thnk it's the PERFECT size. Then I got Craft sticks and Tacky Glue at JoAnn's. Any part that I think is still unstable I use a hot glue gun.
I had a little piece of twine so I tied it on. Now I just need to figure out a handle...

This is Semaj (Her dad's name spelled backwards). I babysat her this past week so we made miniature wishing wells out of baby food jars and miniature craft sticks. She is a cutie! And has a lot of energy!

Swim Time!

The complex we live in has 3 pools!! Yet, NONE of them are open. They keep saying they'll open next week...and it doesn't happen. So we swam at our friend's pool. They just barely moved to Lubbock though so hopefully we will be able to use our pool soon.

Austin was VERY excited to swim! Aren't his shoes so cute?? LOVE hand-me downs

Our friends had this blow-up penguin and Austin loved chewing on that clear plastic thing in front of his head

Daddy and son have look a like hair!

Austin loves to float on his tummy! He kicks his feet and splashes with his arms and looks like he is a natural swimmer. He will even dunk his face in to the water at a moment's notice so I have to be careful

The Circus!

Tyler got some discounted tickets from work so we decided to go and boy was it worth it. It was Austin's and my first time. Austin loved looking at all the bright colors most I think. He even took a 20 minute nap through it. It was VERY loud and I have no idea how he managed to sleep, but he did.

SO COOL!
The elephants were awesome!
Grande Finale! TA DA!

6 Months Already?

Austin turned 6 months yesterday. 14 lbs 14 oz (10%), 25.5 inches (25%) and head is 75%. These proportions are very evident in this picture above. His head looks huge!

More baby food pictures!

2nd time eating squash. I love it when babies make faces!

Yet he still comes back for more

Love that face!

All done!
