We baby sat a little girl named Kinley the other night. Tyler had fun reading them all a bedtime story.  We can't wait to have a girl someday! She is the cutest thing
Kinley and Blake playing together...I think Blake weighs more than her but there is almost a 5 month difference.
After building this tower with Tyler, Austin was so proud of himself for putting the cow on top.  Austin and Tyler would stack every other block.
I was able to take a short 20 minute nap that felt like heaven
and this is what I woke up to...

It's all about the Fort Worth Zoo

We spent a lot of time at the zoo this weekend and it was a blast! We went with a friend, Maartje that we've gotten to know these past 2 years since she and Tyler both are finishing up their Master's degree at TCU in Geology.  She has the cutest little girl named Emma and her and Austin get along great.
Austin was too excited waiting for the train to get in the picture...actually he was throwing a fit when I tried to make him come over.
We've been to the zoo a ton but this was the first time we took the time to ride the train.  It was well worth the dollar spent! Austin loved it. And so did Blake
They also got to ride the carousel which we've never done before!
 He loved riding the Horsey
They loved brushing the goats as well
and riding in the car...we stayed till about 2 since they kept getting sidetracked while we were trying to get out of there. It's like they both caught a second wind! Must have been naptime
Blake conked out...Doesn't he look like a chubalub?  Oh yah! 9 month stats are 20 lbs and 29.5 inches! Way to go big guy!
This past Saturday we all ran the 10K run at the zoo.  I came in 12th out of 146 women just in my age group. Time was 52:42.  Not too bad!

 Austin said, "I'm going running!"
While I was at "Time Out For Women" (Which was AWESOME) Tyler took Austin kayaking.  He LOVED it.
He loved throwing rocks into the water and reaching over the side of the kayak to touch the water.
We're pretty convinced that kayaking will be our fun family adventure in the future!

Blake Blake Bo Blake

Standing? Really? I went in since he wasn't falling asleep from his nap and this is what I found...
 So precious
He's pretty good at fish lips!
Trying to do fish lips but he was smiling too much, so he was having a hard time
I leave the kitchen for 2 minutes and come back to find Austin feeding Blake his rice cereal...Note the big pile of cereal on the floor...and you can't see it very well here but there is lots of food on his tray and on his face. Thanks Austin!
Oh what a goof!

Can we go to the Lake?

Austin catching some air as he's throwing his rock...He was soooo excited!

Anywhere we go, Austin is constantly on the lookout for rocks or sticks. When we go on our runs he is constantly asking for the stick or rock he saw on the side of the road. Which causes me to do a lot of bending over mid-run.... After he gets his stick or rock he immediately wants to throw it into the water...so we search for the next puddle so he can throw it. So we decided to take him to the Trinity River Trail between conference sessions on Saturday so he could throw rocks into the "lake"!

It was so stinkin' hot we could only stand to throw rocks for about 10 minutes until we got sunburned.
Ha ha Suckers! I'm in the shade!
We couldn't get them to put their hands down for the picture.
