Washington

OK.OK. I know I've posted a zillion pictures of our trip but these are just about the last of them.  Here Austin and Brooks hitting trees.  Austin loves to wack things and these trees can take it.
We went over to our neighbor's house to check out their peacocks and Austin hopped on their lawn mower and wanted to ride it...
Austin loved playing with his older cousins, Nathan and Daylen.  He loved tackling them too.
 Tackling Grandpa!
Riding grandpa. My dad was a good sport
 Roasting smores in the backyar.
Grandpa Goodwin and Blake.  It was so fun to hang outside all day long and all evening long!
 Fixing the ol' Bonneville.
 Checking out under the hood
Lori, Jamie, Jana, and I.  My youngest sister Kara stayed home and babysat the 9 grandkids! She fed them dinner and put them to bed. WOW! We all went to the temple with Lori who is serving her mission in Reno, NV.  Do you like the hair colors we all have as sisters?
The fam,. minus Kara.

Kayaking!

We went kayaking up in McCall.  This was sooo much fun. We're pretty sure we will be getting a kayak of our own in the near future.
As soon as we started walking towards the kayaks Austin got super excited and started yelling Boat! Boat! and running around and jumping and making weird noises like he usually does when he's excited.  We got a few laughs from strangers.
The weather was PERFECT! It was sooo beautiful.  The water was completely calm and we could explore all over.
Blake loved sticking his hand in the water too, so it usually ended up either I paddling by myself while Tyler held on to Blake's Life Jacket or vice versa.
Grandpa got to take both boys with him at some point.
We had to entertain Blake as much as we could so he wouldn't jump over the edge.  Tyler's feeding him macaroni behind me.
We spotted a rope swing and couldn't let it pass by! Get Ready....
 Set........
 TA DA!!!!
 Tyler's ninja jump!
 Hi-Yah!
 Beautiful scenery!
Grandpa's paddling was so smooth Austin couldn't help falling asleep
Devrey even had a butterfly land in her hair! This trip was well worth the 3 hour drive there and 3 hour drive back...even when we were in the car the entire day before. Austin and Blake did much better in the car than we thought they would.  Thanks to everyone for entertaining them!

Grandparents

Tyler's grandparents are so much fun to be around.  They have their own little quirks, sayings, and traditions that it really wants me to do fun things with my own little family.  They are also very young compared to my own grandparents.  Grandpa Dan and Grandma C are 2 years younger than my oldest uncle... As you can see above, his biceps are way bigger than Chandlers. :)
Handyman Dan.  This is his normal getup
Grandma C is really something else! She keeps us laughing all day.  She did an entire load of laundry that was all just her socks.  She has hundreds of socks and never wears a matching set.
Ha ha! This says it all.  She is really excited about her socks. Socks make her so happy!
Grandma C turned a dead tree on their property into a Mardi Gras tree.  It is now her Happy Tree!  She has 2 others that she's decorated like this.
A glance at their front yard. Super cute! I love it.

Work Hard, Play Hard

Here is another fun 4-wheeling picture with Grandpa Hair
Austin and Grandpa Dan.  Austin got to watch him cut up a smaller tree that had fallen.  Grandpa Dan loved showing him how it worked
Austin worked hard picking up the cut up pieces and putting them in the trailer.  I was surprised at how well and how long he worked!  Hopefully he keeps that up.
Aunt Beth had the brilliant idea of keeping Austin busy by "painting" the back porch with water.  He loved it and started painting everything!  I got to sit back and relax and soak up the sun in my chair.
Austin's first time shooting a gun!
 He took it very seriously
The best was watching Jane shoot.  She shot a few and then said, that's enough for me! and was done.
I hit the target on my first shot! So did Devrey.  Us girls stick together.
Blake and Austin love their Aunt Devrey.  She loved playing with them and watching them which let me do other fun stuff.
After a long day of playing and working...he finally konked out.  Next to the fireplace. While driving his trucks. :)

Splitting Logs

While we were at Tyler's grandparent's house we rented a log splitter and split a large tree that had fallen own on their property.  It's a pretty awesome machine.
I know...the log isn't going the right way.  I was just pretending! haha.  I thought it would make a cool picture if it actually looked like I was working.
Tyler and Chandler spent a good amount of time splitting this huge tree!  They think they're hot stuff

This was the cutest thing! Grandpa Dan brought out some nails and a hammer and showed Austin how to hammer them into the post.
Austin went to town with it!

Grass Valley

We had such a blast at Tyler's Grandparent's house in Grass Valley.  There was so much to do.  Austin loved playing with this wooden train set.
Lots of relaxin and swinging on the back porch! Grandma Jane with Blake
Austin loved this annoying gun....SOMEONE kept giving it to him. :)
He can't get enough of riding the horsie.
My ALL TIME favorite shot of Austin! I'm blowing this one up for sure.  When I lost my camera the first thing I thought was....I WON'T HAVE THIS PICTURE.  I just about flew back to California with him just so I could get another picture.
We also did lots of 4-wheelin.  Great Grandpa Dan, Amanda, and Austin
 And more...
and more...If Austin heard it running....he went running to find it
 Swing time!
 Love this shot
And this one!!! This swing they got from the Amish people and I loved it!!!
 Blake loved the horsie too.
Shooting home made bow and arrow
Of course Blake had to have a turn
Blake and Aunt Ernie...More pictures to come! I figured I should split them up since I have too many good ones. :)
